We had a lovely two nights at the secret campsite in mid September.
What a lovely setting - each pitch is set apart and separated by long grass / meadow feel and you can see in the future the trees will grow and create nestled pitches in the woods.
Each of our secluded camping pitches has its own fire pit for campfires.

A short drive from Lewes reveals an abundance of tourist attractions making the town of Lewes an attractive base for a short break.
In fact, the plan is for plants to be a big part of this site.
Tim is a botanist and wants to turn this place into the UK’s first ‘edible campsite’ – a planting programme is underway, with an increasing array of berries, edible shrubs and flowers growing freely, ready for campers to pick fresh and add to the saucepan. The Secret Campsite is a peaceful, wildlife friendly campsite, for real campers and their families.
We now ask for full payment when a booking is made and this deposit is partly refundable (90%) if cancellations are made more than 30 days before your arrival date.
We are open all year round with only the woodland tipi trail pitches and yurts available between 1st November & 28th February, we do not charge the additional £10 pitch fee for the woodland pitches during this time.
The secret campsite is, of course, not really very secret at all. He wants people to know about it, to come and support his fledgling business and the rural economy nearby.
For cancellations made with less than 30 days before arrival, there is no refund.
We are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), deep in Sussex Countryside, but within easy reach of London & The South Coast.
